Mark Mueller-Eberstein is one of the world’s leading experts on how businesses can leverage key technology trends, transform organizations and to drive a competitive advantage. He is an internationally renowned business leader, entrepreneur, investor, consultant, best-selling author, and teaches at Rutgers University’s Business School. He leads “The Innovation Economy Research Institute”, works with the Shenzhen (China) based Qianhai Institute for Innovation Research (QIIR), APEC and delivers guest lectures.
Mark founded and is leading the Adgetec Corporation’s consulting business since 2010.
Discovering, understanding, and explaining future trends of technology and communication technologies and what they mean for business, are the key focus areas of Mark and Adgetec. Mark predicted social media, communication technologies, and cloud computing as a key ICT capability enabler for businesses and resulting transformation for the IT industry and professions. Toufi’s background is mainly in Machine Learning, Decentralized Governance, Distributed Computing, and Cryptography. He has authored and co-authored several algorithms, protocols, and patents. Toufi’s companies have had several exits for software that he built from ground up. He sits on multiple Silicon Valley startup boards, is the founder of the TodaQ foundation, and Chair of the ACM Practitioner Board Conference Committee. Currently, Toufi runs a startup factory and InfoSec advisory with Todd Gebhart (ex- Co-President of McAfee & Vice-Chairman of Intel Security) and Dann Toliver (ex-NASA scientist and cryptographer). The firm is called PrivacyShell Corp with offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Toronto. PrivacyShell’s portfolio founders have an aggregate of over $27B in exits.
